Previous Guestsperts Edit

  • Dan Savage - bestselling author, writer of Savage Love, and host of the Savage Lovecast. He was not technically a guestspert, but was their first celebrity advice-giver. He appeared on Episode 146: Kenan By Way of Kel.[1]
  • Lin-Manuel Miranda - Grammy and Tony award winning composer, actor, rapper, and lyricist. He composed the parody song "Fugue For Brotherhorns" [2] (based on Fugue for Tinhorns from Guys and Dolls) which the brothers performed on Episode 193: Journey to the Center of the Bear.[3]
  • John Roderick- Rock musician and podcaster. He composed and performed MBMBaM's theme song with his band the Long Winters. He appears as a guestspert on Episode 204: Bait Kids. [8]
  • Elizabeth Gilbert - bestselling author of Eat, Pray, Love and The Signature of All Things. She appears on Episode 210: Yippee Ki-yay, Holy Father[4]
  • Bill Corbett - Writer and actor, best known for his portrayal of Crow T. Robot during the later seasons of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and for his work with Rifftrax, a movie riffing supergroup formed by multiple MST3K alumni. Corbett appears in Episode 230: Chipocalypse. [9]
  • Patrick Rothfuss - Author of critically acclaimed fantasy novels The Name of the Wind and its bestselling sequel, The Wise Man's Fear.[5] Together, they make up the first two of a proposed three novels in Rothfuss' Kingkiller Chronicle, which is being adapted into a movie and a Showtime television series with Lin-Manuel creating the music and executive producing.[6] Rothfuss is brought on in episode 311: Amber Is The Color of Our Energy.[7]
  • Jonah Ray - Actor, comedian, and writer. Host of Hidden America and co-host of The Nerdist Podcast, as well as current host of Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return. Jonah made his appearance in Episode 353: The Feenysnatcher. [10]
  • Jimmy "FUCKING" Buffett - Musician, God of Good Vibes, Mayor of Margaritaville. This legend appears on MBMBaM 383: Fins Up
  • Marilu Henner - Star of stage and screen, best known for her role on Taxi. She's also known for her ability to remember very specific details of almost every day of her life. Marilu appears on Episode 414: Hogsplash.
  • Elsie Fisher - Young actress known for her role in 2018 film Eighth Grade. Fisher made her appearance on Episode 419: Some Good JPEGs of My Favorite Matrix Characters, where she offered advice on how to become the coolest kid in school.
